Hey, wow. This is the first time I have been on Deviant Art in so long... like the better part of a year, or something. But, wow, I have never had a more warm welcome! Thank you all for all the comments and favorites and features. I really appreciate it and I would personally thank each one of you, but I am working on a crappy crap computer at the moment with slow internet, so it would take too much time. "Well, are you a technician, or an artist?" -professor at FIT to some other kid who apparently does not understand art. Don't come to art school and major in photography if you think photography is simply about aiming a camera and taking a technically precise photograph. If you think that's all it is, then get the fuck out. It is very simple to light well, get a beautiful model, aim well, and click your finger down. It's an entirely different thing to recreate an emotion you either felt at the time of shooting, or wanted to convey from the image, and do THAT well. Is art just a pretty picture? Hell no.
